Thankful Thursdays - What an Attitude of Gratitude and Positive Words Can Do

This weeks post is just a little bit different. It is not necessarily about what I am thankful for, but, for why I, and we, should be thankful.

Dr. Masaru Emoto has been experimenting and studying the human impact on water. No, not the effluent we flush into our rivers, lakes and oceans, but that which flows for our minds, our thoughts, or attitudes. He has been studying ice crystals, and how positive and negative "vibes" affect their formations. He has taped certain words onto vials of water and then studied the crystals under a microscope. He has also used music and performed the studies.

This short recording illustrates the findings that he and his team have discovered.

His work was also featured in the movie "What the Bleep do We Know?" with this short but enlightening clip.

His work demonstrates the power of words, not  just spoken, but even just written down.

Whether it is quantum physics, metaphysics, spirituality, I don't know. But if we can keep this in mind, the power of our thoughts and words, we might learn to speak, to write, to think things differently. We might really make a change for the better.

As the video illustrated, just the writing of the word GRATITUDE had a beautiful effect on the crystalization process of ice. Just think of the effect it could have on use if we start, and continue expressing that feeling. And conversely, negative words resulted in ugly, mutated, terrible looking crystals.

If thoughts can do that to water

Imagine what our thoughts do to us!

Thank you all.
